dvd shrink would not copy?

i tried to copy a dvd useing dvd shrink it would not do it so i used dvdfab to decript it and made a file and dvd shrink still won't burn it do i need to use another tool so shrink will burn it? granbn

If shrink produces an error while trying to open the files produced by DVDFab, you'll need to first process then thru FixVTS, then try and open the files using shrink.

Here you can get FixVTS (free) and a simple guide on use:

I too am having trouble using DVD Shrink. I have been using it for months and suddenly the program will not open. I tried uninstalling Shrink and downloading again but the program simply will not open. Would anyone have any ideas on why this has happened and how I can fix it? I am a novice at this so please be gentle.

DVD Shrink does not burn - it uses other applications such as Nero or DVD Decrypter to burn.

Ensure that you have burn with Nero option enabled.

I use Nero to burn the DVD once the DVD has been 'shrunk' but I can't get the DVD Shrink program to even open.

Try Using DVDFab HD Decrypter (Freeware) Shrink (Freeware) and imgburn (Freeware).

Read the Guides, First.

I'm assuming you mean that shrink will not run at all any more and you don't mean that it will not open a disk, not sure what you may of done to cause this, but if uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it didn't fix it, try a system restore. Restore the computer/OS to a time before this started to happen and see if shrinks works again.
