My X360 is freezing regugarly and the screen goes weird.

Hello every1, the last few days my x360 has been a bit weird, it freezes and the screen goes black with a line of dots.
could any1 gv me some tips or say why that's happening.

try using new component cable. Or removing the hard drive and turn the 360 on.

cheers, i'll try doing that, it's never been like it is now i can't even play a game it freezes straightaway and the screen goes weird, before it froze but after like 3hrs of playing a game and the screen was normal.

yeah i got this before my box died, i also got some nice coloured squares too. Freezing seems to be the first sign of bad times ahead.

hello i tried to play on my x360 with the hhd off but it still freezes and the screen goes weird aswell, by the way my x360 is chipped and i had it 4 more than a year.

Send it to someone on ebay,they'll fix it for like $40

Whatever you do... DO NOT SEND IT TO MICROSOFT! I have sent in 10 consoles already... I am now in contact with my State Attorney General and the Better Business Burro! I am going to get my problem resolved once in for all!

I would send it to this guy http://cgi.ebay.com/Broken-Xbox-360-Repa...QcmdZViewItem(I was considering sending mine to him but then MS changed their warranty policy)plus he has great feedbach,has his own warranty,and will refund youre money if he cant fix it:D If you dont want to send it to him search on ebay for xbox 360 repair service

well i've thought of sending it to M$ coz now they extend the warranty to 3 yrs, all i hv to do is put the fw back to the orginal one and send it back to M$.
Any suggestions.

As long as you have the sticker M$ shouldnt put a fuss up about the firmware! Just remember I have sent 10 consoles to Microsoft and none have been 'fully' functional if functional at all...

will i hv to put the original FW or not? and if yes how i got the orginal backup fw cd i just need to know how i put it bck to the original one, i won't hv to pay anything coz my x360 is in warranty (3yr).
