the only way to unlock da ps3's graphics is to have a hdtv which is expensive but is there a way to connect da playstation 3 console to da computer's lcd screen?
How would you get sound? I have an iMac and the HDMI converter should work for me, but what about sound? Would I have to buy an audio to digital optical in or whatever? Or would I have to buy seperate speekers?
If so, what kind/type/whatever, and what would I need to connect it to the PS3(nothing too expensive)?

You can just use the regular Red and White cables and connect them to a stereo, that is if your stereo has those inputs because mine does.
