Hey, I am about to buy a ps3, but I've read an article lately and it totally destroyed me 0_0. I have a 55 inch Sony Wega LCD projection tv that supporst 480i480p720i720p1080i. It does not support 1080p, which means i will not be compensating of the maximum quality of the blu-ray discs. However, what I am worrying about, is Sony has some 1080p games. I was aware of this, but apparently, PS3 does not support 1080i, which means it has to downscale the 1080p image to 720p. My question is, is this true? that the ps3 doesn't support 1080i? And is 720p and 1080p quality in games so diffrent? And do i still need an HDMI cable if i have this tv and want to profit of maximum graphics I can get?
