I want to change the name of the output folder in this program. After a movie is finished being copied the disk is ejected and a screen comes up and asks me if I want to delete the files in that folder. Anyway, can anyone tell me how to change the file name? I have tried doing it when the disk is finished copying but it does not work. I appreciate any help. Thanks,

Hi Katt,

I'm not exactly sure what your question means. What program are you using to burn the movie? Is it Shrink that asks you if you want to delete the files? Haven't come across that situation before. If you backup many movies, you should delete them from your hard drive otherwise it will fill up and you will not have space to temporarily hold and edit your movie files in the future until they are burned. If you want to change the name of the directory that contains your movie files, just open Windows Explorer (Start button --> All Programs --> Accessories) and look for "Windows Explorer" not Internet Explorer. Go to the directory or subdirectory that contains your movie files. Place your cursor over the file name and right click, choose Rename, and rename the file folder. DON'T rename any movie files (vob, ifo or bup) just the folder. You should just delete the movie files from your hard drive after burning them to conserve space.

When you click back, you can specify the location and name of the output folder here. Select hard disk folder for backup target, then specify a name and location for the files.

AND...

When you click backup, the last tab on the right is the burn tab, here you can label/name the DVD what ever you like before burning the files to disk.

Under Volume Label, type the name of the DVD.
