Ok, i used the devhook PSP downgrader 2.71 - 1.5. I did this before, but this is a new PSP. It wrote the flash successfully it said, and i pressed X to restart. After that, i got no BSOD, and its just black, but the Power LED is green. The Power LED stays green and doesnt shut off, unless i hold the power button in for 10 seconds. IS it bricked, or is there somehing else i have to do?

PEople dont really use dev hook anymore so I dont know. Why were you using that anyway? It doesnt sound like a brick but it might be the dev hook messing up the firmware.

If it doesn't turn off by itself, then it might not be a brick. Try pressing the brightness button.

I tried, Sony says the warranty is made invalid if I tried to load thrird person software to downgrade my PSP. They want to charge $100.00 to fix it plus shipping.
