Ok, i used the devhook PSP downgrader 2.71 - 1.5. I did this before, but this is a new PSP. It wrote the flash successfully it said, and i pressed X to restart. After that, i got no BSOD, and its just black, but the Power LED is green. The Power LED stays green and doesnt shut off, unless i hold the power button in for 10 seconds. IS it bricked, or is there somehing else i have to do?
PEople dont really use dev hook anymore so I dont know. Why were you using that anyway? It doesnt sound like a brick but it might be the dev hook messing up the firmware.
i pressed the brightness and every button, the light doesnt turn off which is crazy. I can only turn it off wiht a hard reset as a said. Everything said it installed ok, but idk whats going on. I dont know whats wrong, can someone shed some light?
I tried, Sony says the warranty is made invalid if I tried to load thrird person software to downgrade my PSP. They want to charge $100.00 to fix it plus shipping.
lol u should have said u did the network update then it shut off by itself... ya dont know how... but i wouldnt let them fix it cause they will most likely update it to 3.52
