Alright, so I hooked my ps3 up to my LCD monitor using a HDMI to DVI cable. It works, I see the image fine, but the quality of the picture isnt that good. It looks better on my normal standard tv. The color is kinda dull, Its really jagged, and the brighness aint that good either. Any help?

Have you adjusted the screen size on your monitor?

Well on my monitor, It has digital and analog, my comp is hooked up to analog while my ps3 is hooked up to digital, making it easy to switch back and forth between the two with just a click of a button. I can easily right clck the backround and change the resolution on the computer but how would I beable to for the ps3?

The PS3 should automatically detect the optimum settings for your monitor, if not you can manually set it yourself, go to display settings on your PS3.

You probably can, but i dont know your PC... its all to do what your graphics card in your PC can push, and also your drivers.
Is there no menu button on your monitor so you can set it?

Yep, but if your monitor doesnt support higher res then your stuck, but most pnp monitors can display high res these days.

why are you hooking up yur ps3 to your pc to play on the monitor. i just hook my ps3 straight into my friends monitor. does your monitor have multiple inputs?
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...
