Well I know that the official release date for home is somewhere in fall 07 so I think the open beta will be out a couple months before fall. So it will give them some months before its out to look and the open beta results and make some touch ups if needed.

I heard the finalized Home will be released at the end of this month. Pretty sure I heard that on E3.
