Hi i started a thread about "how to downgrade 3.52 to 1.5 to use homebrew, but someone replied and told me "no way to do this. so i search the internet, i found a site that you can download a full version of a downgrader. Can someone please tell me if this is credible or working fine. Thankzzz.

If you read the readme, it tells you that u use it if you don't know where to put downgrade files on a PSP.
Theres no 3.51/3.52 dgrader

if ur read in your link it says FROM 1.50 TO 3.52 NOT FROM 3.52 TO 1.50

ye man agree with you guys, really need a downgrader, it sucks man and i am ****** i upgraded this thing to 3.52 and now jus tplay songs videos, and pic and games, and that to i just have one game Juiced and it sucks,

yeah it really sucked and this thing is useless. can i suggest one thing. can we just send a petition to game makers to lower their price of games, i dont really want to use pirated games. but the things is, this prices is really high so people are being pushed to stealing and using hacked games. you know what happened to PS3 and Wii, the Wii was no. 1 because it is cheaper than PS3. Wii was sold out. if games in PSP is lower i think games will be sold out as well and ppl wont be forced to used hacked games.
just my opinion, hope there's 3.52 homebrew.....!!

If you're so smart, make one yourself. There's no 3.51 or 3.52 downgrader because we need an exploit in the firmware that allows access to flash0, enabling us to alter the homebrew kernel. Once that is altered, we can make a HEN, which ultimately leads to a downgrader.

And, one last thing: Don't blame the downgrader makers for not making a downgrader. What they do is entirely voluntary. They can choose what they do, when they do it. It is your fault for going past 3.50, which a downgrader was JUST made. They need a break, let them have one.

For the homebrew yeah i really don't know about that crap (or may not be).

Seriously, I'm stuck in the same boat. I wanted to play PSOne games on my PSP, but I didn't realize I needed homebrew or anything for it. I hadn't even really looked into the homebrew stuff or anything. I just figured out how to pull files off a disc and make a .iso, then convert that to a .pbp. Only after that didn't work, did I realize that that wouldn't work.
Unfortunately, I updated my PSP to 3.52 because I thought that the latest firmware would have the most compatibility with that sort of thing. I didn't realize (though I should have) that Sony was going to make it so that you could just take your own games and put them on the PSP, no of course not. You have to pay for your games again, to download them from their store, then they'll work on your PSP. Well Sony definitely gets the big FU in my book on that one, so I start doing my online research (which I should have done more of to begin with), and that's when I learn about cfw, homebrew, and all that good stuff.
I also understand that the PSP isn't exactly a full blown computer, so I can imagine its pretty tough to hack. I'm actually surprised that so much has been done already. I can understand though that Sony has made it pretty difficult, and has closed a lot of the back doors that homebrew makers have used to get into the system, so I am not expecting an easy fix. I do think that it will be hacked eventually, but I'll just have to wait that one out. I certainly am not going to be writing any angry letters to any hackers though, considering that they really do most of their work for free, and probably only receive a small amount of donations. Maybe if I ever donate $100 to one because they say it'll help them get something made that I want, and then they don't come through, then I'll complain. Until then, I don't think they deserve much more than my thanks when they do put something together, or my understanding when they either can't (at the time), or need a break.
I really don't understand why that's so hard to figure out. Just because you're a noob with homebrew and updated to 3.52 ofw, doesn't mean you have to be a noob about it!

Im not a noob at the psp i got it the second day it came out, i was only using some internet brousing tools suchs as X5 or Windows Xp and then i passed a web site w/ applecor and i wanted it so i downloaded it and it said u needed to get into recovery mode so i was like ok so i shut it off pluged in the usb held down r wile turing it on and it just started up like normal, and i was pissed then i rememberd that i had 3.52 and now im looking for a downgrader.

^^Example of a noob who read the wrong half of Homebrew 101: He saw the advanced section, and immedietly upgraded to the latest version, thinking it was the best. Better read the whole thing next time ;)
Obviously, you missed the memo. You need a homebrew enabled PSP to run homebrew. Not hard to figure out.

^^ Example of a perma-noob. Someone who has had a PSP from the beginning of time and has been ignorant of all the cool things his whole life.
Just because you've had a PSP for longer than most people doesn't make you not a noob. It is homebrew skill and knowledge that makes the person not a noob. Go read up on what homebrew is. By the time you know how to write an emulator source code and make it actually run 100% without copying from someone, a downgrader will almost be made.

uhhhh no, im definantly not a noob, i was not thinking wen i updated, i used to run iso and homebrew and all kinds of crap w/ one of Dark_Alex's versions, and i just carlessly updated, and ive only meet one person w/ a psp and he was a noob. So stop telling me what i am.

shhhh Let's stop the noob calling alright? Tell you what, if you really want to call someone a noob, call me one, doesn't bother me none.
For those of you who want 3.52 downgrade, just wait. As has been stated, we need to find an exploit. Personally, I'm more concerned with figuring out some way to access a bricked PSP in order to repair it (Fun hm? I like challenges ;) ).
When one is found, it'll surely be released ASAP. People get pissed when you could do a search and didn't because it's easier to hit "new thread". All of the information you'll ever want is online here I'm sure. Relax, if an exploit is found you'll know about it.
