I am getting a new LCD HDTV that can display 1080p.
Right now, my PS3 is connected to my TV by the composite cables (yellow
red and white).
I am going to get a HDMI cable. Can anyone recommend which one to get?
The only differance in expensive HDMI vs cheaper HDMI is the shielding.. Usually the thicker the shielding, the greater the price. Unless you need a HDMI cable over 6ft, than you should not need those expensive moster cables. The longer the distance the greater chance of interference from other devices such as, microwaves, cells phones, etc, etc... Besides most people already know that running long distances loses quality in audio and video due to attenuation. I get my HDMI cables from work (Directv).. I have 3 connected to my PS3,DVD player and reciever, they work great!!!They carry the same quality as any other and shield any interferences around my home.
Dont be conned into buying $80 HDMI cables when buying your HDtv.. The store with the same name, has that name for a reason..lol...
