i am having issues with shrink it keeps telling me not enugh memory for some movie i tryed useing the rip but same thing

What movie are you doing? Wht else did you try - like ripping 1st with DVDFab HD Decrypter?

its not just one movie its some movies like days of thunder and larry the cable guy morning constitution.i notice that the greene line on the shrink isnt full but not red either while encoding it stops with a message that not enough memory to continue

Ok have you tried ripping these with dvdfab hd decrypter 1st then opening them in shrink?

The not enuf memory error can mean that shrink can't handle the copy protection. Even those these are older ones there a few older ones that shrink can't handle by it lonesome.

DVDFab HD Decrypter is like decrypter but it's still updated to handle the newer copy protections - decrypter and shrink are no longer updated.

Close any unneeded programs running when using Shrink.

The one I linked you to above - dvdfab hd decrypter is the latest version - it's also free.
Give that a go.

thank you for your help it worked like a charm anfd it is free oops lol.now how bout another prob im trying to figure out how to convert my mvi/avi files to mpg/mpeg files so i can burn them they are videos from my camera

Good to hear that did the trick!

Here's a free program to try on the avi's -DivXtoDVD.
Set the standard to the TV format you're in like PAL for Europe or NTSC for US,Canada.
Save the files to your hard drive. If you have Nero you can use burning rom or express to burn the video_ts folder. If you don't have Nero use Imgburn. Use the build mode to add the video_ts folder. Here's a guide for that too - link.
ImgBurn is the updated burn engine of decrypter so it's free too.

hey i just wanted to say thank you for the help you really know your stuff.if theres any other programs that you think is pretty cool let me know anytime. i still would love to find a way to burn video games for the regular xbox lol but i dont think thatll work lol.again thank you.

Now for the XBox - yep it can be done but your XBox needs to be modded 1st. There's other software to do the game backup bit. But I don't backup games so that's the most I can tell you.
