heres my situation folks, I want to burn ps2 games which i know how to do. I have also accepted the fact that i need swap magic disks if i dont want to go the mod chip direction.

But... I have a ps3 instead of a ps2. ps2 backups dont work ps3 either. I dont have the swap magic disks. Can I burn copies so that they run on my ps3?

im kindof a noob with this stuff so bear with the retardedness haha.

Or better yet. Do the swap disks work for the ps3? If so then ill just get them and be on my way.

The swap disc will work on the ps3 but you would have to cut a hole in your ps3 in order to perform the swap. Or you can do what this guy did.

Haha, thats sick. Ill probly do that. Im an electrician haha. So I think ill be alright lmao.

Alright man, got ya.
Wire out my ps3 with a switch.
Load an original ps2 title.
then eject it and load my burnt ps2 one while the ps3 still thinks my original is still in.

That bout it?
