Okay I converted this battery, and put everything from the easy installer on my memory card, put the memory card and the battery in the PSP and it automatically turns on but no menu comes up.. Also, when it says to format the memory card with that application, I don't get that. I double click it and black window comes up for about a quarter second and disappears. How do you format it with that application it doesn't make ANY sense!

hey guys, this is from the pandora readme. Can you explain what it means exactly? I just want to make sure. I am here, the final step before running battery creator from the (non-broken psp) xmb.
19. type ?msinst W msipl.bin?
20. ONCE COMPLETED DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP ? REMOVE THE MS FROM THE PSP AND POWER THE UNIT DOWN RE-INSERT THE MS AND POWER THE SYSTEM BACK ON
21. Now, browse over to the MS under games, and run the application ?Pandora?s Battery Creator? ? I recommend backing up the eeprom of the battery just in case (it?s 1K , you?ve got plenty of space). The steps should be pretty obvious at this point, if you decide to backup the eeprom, you?ll have to re-enter the battery program to update the battery firmware.
22. ONCE COMPLETED DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP ? REMOVE THE MS FROM THE PSP AND POWER THE UNIT DOWN RE-INSERT THE MS AND ALSO REMOVE AND RE-INSERT THE (NOW MODDED) BATTERY. POWER THE SYSTEM BACK ON
23.
24. Congratulation, you are now in posession of a "Magic Memory Stick"
25. and a "JigKick Battery".
---------------
for step 21, when it says you have to re-enter the battery program to update the battery firmware, does this mean if you want to restore the battery later on so you can use it normally again? Or do you have to do it regardless as soon as you decide to back up the eeprom? I think the wording of the readme just confuse me, and I need clarification.
for step 22, is it asking you to remove the MS while the system is still on, fully power down (by holding the power button), and then removing the battery as well? At this point, why is it asking me to re-insert both the MS and battery into the un-bricked psp? Here is where I am stuck, do I re-insert both things and power back on or can I just take the MS and battery and put it into the BRICKED psp?

The DOS prompt doesn't work because you have to type "cmd" into run program, then that line when the window displays.

Why are there so many post asking for a complete run through on how to use it?
All the steps to run it are in the READ ME file that comes with the download.

Yes, but lots of people with 3.51 or 3.52 have no idea, and also have no idea about the fact that you need to make the battery and memory card on a homebew enabled PSP.

A Jugstick won't work but you could make a Jigkick for latter use.

Hello all!!
Okay my problem is the msipl
do we still need to do the msint.exe??
I thought the whole msipl.bin file is the most important part of the process. Well when i tried it the old fashion way in the cmd it says something to the effect: too small to read sector (or something like that)
