I can format it in windows explorer by right mouse clicking on the drive and choosing format than checking quick
ive been tryn since last night and read every forum
i dont get it at all
this is simple but i cant get this to work
using FW 3.40 OE-A
OK able to format
went to tools-->view-->and uncheck both hidden boxs
I than followed everthing exactly and all i get is a black screen and green light
it appears i converted the battery but when i switch everything over to the brick psp it doesnt work

Funny thing happened at Best Buy today. My brother and I went to Best Buy and I picked up a PSP battery and then I said to my brother, "hey is this battery better than my normal battery?"
then my brother said, "if it is, use this battery as your main battery and use your other battery as the Jigkick". When we were talking, we were near a Best Buy employee. So the employee starts walking to another employee and talks to him and then she points at me and then both employees start staring at my brother and I. So we got out of there and checked out the iMacs and HDTV. Why was she pointing at me? Oh right because she found out that I was creating a Jigkick battery. But they can't do anything about it :P .

Great news. We won't see prices like that anymore or bricks for that matter:)
Just want to know if you used Touran22's auto installer or if you did it manually. Very few have mentioned that and I just thought it would be a good idea if someone started reporting on that. Seems alot of people are asking about the msinst program. I was under the impression that the auto installer has already done that for you. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me the installer just takes everything from the root of an already created Magic MS and copies it to your MS. So the only thing left to do is run the battery creator.
It will be a day or so before I can try this. So I'm not real sure on this maybe someone who has actually used the auto installer can shed some light.

Hi, I opened the command prompt and I tried to run mspformat and it says, 'mspformat' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

connect up your psp to usb.
Make sure mspformat is in the root of your c drive. C:\mspformat.exe
then goto start > run > type cmd > click ok
Now at the dos promt type cd\
then type mspformat x where x is the letter of your PSP drive under windows.
Hope this helps

Yes MS can be used as normal afterwards.
I think you got it right, the readme that comes with the download tells exactly how to do it manually. Don't know though have not done it yet. Why not try Touran22's installer?

I did use Touran22's installer. The installer places all the necessary files where it needs to be. I'm just making sure I'm doing everything correct. I'm going to run them now.
