Not if you have a Memory Stick reader. I don't think you would need a hacked PSP to create the memory stick files if you're using a PSP though, cuz when you activate USB mode, the PSP pretty much acts as a Memory Stick reader.

And thanks for posting the link to that guide, I'd never heard of it till just now :)

Woo Hoo! I just downgraded mine! I would recomend you just get yourself a bigger one because you are just going to end up filling it up with files that modify your PSP in the first place, such as emulators and their respective ROMs.

I have two questions:
1) will the jigkick and the magic memory stick also work on a Slim PSP?
2) Can I reconvert my memory stick to normal after I unbrick the PSP and how?

I want to unbrick a fat PSP using a CFW Slim PSP and also unbrick a Slim PSP, is that possible?

Hello

I have a problem. I download pandora from the first link you've provided but when I open it up there is no mspformat. I only have a folder called kd, PSP and registry and then I have another thing called msipl and an UPDATE.PBP. Whats wrong and is a 32mb memory card ok and if I use my 2gb one and then can I use it again normally.

Thank you
