They're claiming that it will, but seeing as the configuration disk hasn't been released yet it's hard to say.

Yeah mate it does sound stupid :)
You have to extract the iso using winrar, then when you have the .iso file you can burn that

Ok so i cant sleep and find the 1.2b firmware disk and decide to try agian and nothing i get this message, " error test faild please check your connections". anyway i heard the disk stop spinning right after the test ends so i thought hmm what if i re-enter the disk before i get the error message and bingo! it updates, but wait it just says 100? take out the disk agian and pop it back in and it will say the coin message ( a.ka its updated). and so far everything that worked before seems to be working but i dont have anything to test like if the sound works etc.... I got naruto clash of ninja 4 ( gamecube) it has the audio problem is this leaked update gonna fix it? if it is then the update failed lol... I dont have anything to test with though...

If you have anything besides a NTSC-J console, you will need to load Naruto GNT 4 via GCOS boot DVD method. It works almost every time when I play mine. Sometimes I get a crash upon loading and it works next time around. Test out Naruto 4 and if it plays fne, you're update was successful.

as Prior post from "SmkFather" Ive tried burning the new update on DVD and it dosent recognize it either, (yes system plays back-ups of both wii and GC and homebrew with no prob) Im wondering if you boot it up with the Wiikey setup disc 1.2 and then swap the disc and click on update?

Well I need help. I just bought my Wii modded from some guy like a week ago. He said there is a wiikey in it. I dunno how to check this, but so far all the backups I own work properly as well as 1 GC backup I got, smash bros melee. I got the 1.9b update from the website and I tried both chopping it to get the size to 1.4 gigs and also burning as is using Imgburn. I see a gamecube disc and i load it i get the black panties and all. It goes Initialising drive...
ReadID failed.
error reading disk,,, prss any key to retry...
i do that and the same thing happens. I tried burning it on 2 different types of media and at different speeds and I currently have 5 coasters... Would anyone potentially know the problem?

I need help.
I extracted the pal one since I have a PAL wii. I burned the image on a DVD-R with x2 speed in Nero (exactly like I usually do with stuff). When I inserted the DVD into my Wii it just said that the disc couldn't be read. What have I done wrong here?
Also, when I burn the config disc I should only burn the iso right? There's also a filechop.exe and a fixsize.cmd which I dunno what's for..
Please answer me asap as this is really pissing me off
