This same thing happened with GoW...
One of the head developers of the game said it was "bull****" and that they were sticking with Microsoft.

yea i played through a lot of the story and it was interesting... but i wouldnt buy it.

bioshock has a great story, great gameplay and hell its all around sick. I want it for the PS3

Yeah even if it came out for the ps3 which is completely impossible in my mind, i wouldnt even rent it. didnt impress me too much and if they put it on the ps3 they would screw up the porting as always and lowers the game further on my list of games I would play.

First some PS3 fans start a petition to boycott DMC4 after they found out it was also going to be released for the 360... now there's a petition to get a 360 exclusive released for the PS3.
I just can't understand fanboys sometimes.
I believe all games (minus first party, of course) should be released for all consoles.

I agree. Though, BioShock isn't a first party game... it's a third party Microsoft exclusive (NOT XBOX exclusive) i think.

Your correct, 2K Games is a Third party studio so its exclusive for 360 but i really think its coming to the PS3.I wish it would because i heard great things about this game.

you got to be kidding me bioshock is exclusive to the 360 get over it i mean come on guys 360 owners dont care about warhawk.we buy the console we like.and if a good game comes out on the other console buy the console or get over it.its really that simple.you chose ps3 and that means for now no bioshock.and for the 360 owners no warhawk

If PS3 users really want the game, such as myself, I think we should just buy it for the PC; the PC version is better anyway (granted you have a computer that can run it.)

I have both consoles, and BioShock, i played it once and now its sitting gathering dust. I dont know what all the hype is about, i honestly dont think its good.
Just on another note, i only buy exclusive titles for the 360, the rest for my PS3, much rather the PS3.

I thought it was a great game. I sat and played it for 9 hours one day. But, I also believed it was overhyped. It reminded me of Condemned and Prey. It was just one of those games which drew you in like a good book. You just didn't want to put it down because you wanted to see what happened next.
As for all third party games being cross platform, like I said, I'm all for it. If console mfg's. weren't able to sell their units based on third party exclusive games, they'ld have to sell it based on the hardware itself. If that were so, then we, the customers, wouldn't have to have delt with issues like 360's overheating or PS2 lasers.
