Read this at the qj.net forums. I see this news release as saying. "Yeah we have a 3.60 M33 for the PSP, BUT have no way to install it because their is not yet a kernel mode hack for the PSP."

i read the readme in the install files and it says that it uses pandora's battery. the files are availible now for download on qj. And it can't run any 1.5 homebrew..at least not yet anyways!
1.5>>3.10 oe-a>>>3.40 oe-a (almost bricked)>>>1.5>>>3.10 oe-a>>>3.40 oe-a Customized xmb (y)
Who here bought Lumines to PLAY the game?
Team C+D...The creators of Pandora's Battery
Adrahil (VoidPointer)-Booster-Cswindle (Caretaker)-Dark_AleX (Malyot)-Ditlew-Fanjita (FullerMonty)-Joek2100 (CosmicOverSoul)-Jim-Mathieulh (WiseFellow)-Nem (h1ckeyph0rce)-Psp250-Skylark-TyRaNiD (bockscar)
M33=dArk+Alex... what a twist!lol

You suffer! You will need the original PSP (PSP1001US) to create Pandora's Battery and memory stick. Then you need to copy the new files over to it, along with the 3.40 and 3.60 EBOOTs. Then you can swap the battery and memory stick to the PSP Slim (PSP2000US). The conversion process for 1.50 to 2.xx is easy as they even gave us the files to do it. Most of it can be done in simple C++ language. By December, after Christmas, every PSP programmer will design the code specifically for PSP2000US. It will be compatible with the PSP1001US, just place the files under GAME3xx, instead of GAME150.
I don't know about you guys, but jumping on the 3.60 M33 wagon now is a little foolish. You all remember how glitchy 3.51 M33 and 3.52 M33 were before all the updates. Even Dark_Alex's OE Firmwares had major flaws before updates. I'm leaving my PSP at 3.60 Official; at least until they offer update #2. At the rate they are producing updates, I bet by the end of this month, they will have worked out within 75% of the bugs with 3.60.
There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

Man it kinda sucks you need a 2nd PSP to do it. Once your slim is flashed will you be able to update without a second PSP you think?

To bring this thread back on topic,
Originally posted by creaky: it really doesn't matter who starts threads before whoever, or who posts stuff before anyone else, all that's important is not having 100s of threads on the same thing, at the end of the day forums are about helping noobs find the info they need, not about who can 'claim fame' by starting a thread first...
it's nothing personal, nor is closing threads personal; as i say, it's all about the place being a source of info for the people that need it - the noobs
hopefully that will settle the issue and maybe make some of you PSP posters take heed for future posts..
