Formatting problems with: mspformat PLEASE HELP!

ok i tired the new method for the error about logical drive and during the begining of installing it to the battery i get tis message


reading and checking ms0/update.pbp

ERROR WHILE INITIALIZING: 0X8CA10002
installing firmware to memory stick
hang on this will take a while time to get a coffee....

so what is this error

Start over again by format the PSP Memory Stick and this time rename the update.pbp to just update and try that.

Sometimes users will have the .PBP extension hidden. This making the file actually being update.pbp.pbp (to many .pbp there) So renaming it to update (without the .PBP) should work.

Sometimes when you help one person you never know who else you help. but i just thought that since you took the time to help that person that i could take the time to say thank you for helping me with that same newb problem.
