A step by step guide shows you how to convert an HD-DVD to Blu-ray that you can either put on a blu-ray disc or multiple DVDs. This can then be played back on your Blu-ray player including the PS3. No loss of quality, no reencoding.


No more HD-DVD exclusives because they can be put on blu-ray.


what more can i say except total pwnage for the xbots ;)

How about saying "I'm sorry for not telling the whole truth as Blu Ray exclusives can also be converted to play on the 360, also. With no quality loss."

He is right. Great news to owners of both formats. Transformers is coming to hd-dvd but a person I met online who already has a blu-ray burner is going to hook me up with it on Blu-Ray when it comes out. Rich kids have more money than since. He has a hd dvd drive in his computer and a bluray burner.

Naw. The hardware doesn't support it. The layer the info is stored on a Blu Ray disc is at a different depth than where it is on a HD-DVD. Therefore, the laser can't read it.
