I use Shrink all the time and then burn with Clone DVD. My dvd's come out looking great. I have Nero, but have never needed to use it with Shrink. I'm still using Shrink 2.3. I didn't want to mess with a good thing. The new version may be more stable or whatever, but I haven't had problems with 2.3 so I'm sticking with it. I mainly use clone DVD. I only use Shrink when I want to break a movie in half between two discs.
a chick who is 100% devoted to anydvd, clonedvd, dvd shrink, and ritek discs

what is it with u lot , to copy perfect dvd9 to dvd 5 is three simple steps first use DVD Shrink which is free will unlock all regions and macrovision and also make your new disk region free, then use inter-video dvd copy (cost same as clone but makes SVCD VCD and div x disks and burn these, reproduced disks work on my dvd players and ps2 yes i did say ps2 its that simple, but beware you must use decent media otherwise you will have probs and stick to + format disks

hi golum well i still only use Anydvd and clone , also found that ritek, princo , nec are pretty good discs to use although they are on the cheap side and that tdk are really xpensive and they are c**p.I have been reading a lot of the forum posts and well i really cant explain why i seem to be having a lack of problems while a lot of people are .I have tried various back up programs but mainly run with the above or with 321 dvd x copy platinum, and mine also run in my ps2.

Does anyone know if AnyDVD works with Roxio? It sure would help since I've already purchased it. If not, is there a decrypter out there that does work with Roxio? Thanks in advance for any help.

AnyDVD runs in the background, so it should work with Roxio too. However Roxio doesn't seem to be the best software to use on DVD backups. Since there is a 30 day free trial of AnyDVD, I would download it and try it with Roxio. Can't hurt to see what happens. Use a RW disc so you don't end up with a bunch of coasters.

just give it up and use DVD Shrink . its free- its fast- it has more features- and makes better quality backups than CLONE DVD and works with any software- it does both the ripping and the compressing all in one.
