Hi Scouser,
I got another Red Box. Done as you said. Pressed reset on my box and then program code download. Got dnld on display. When it finished it said version 1.20 detected. On my display it still says 0126. Nothing is happening.

Sorry for butting in and I dont know if this will help lol
I have a BLUE box and when I downloaded the latest firmware for it and connected it back to the TV , I also had numbers on the LCD display and "No Signal" on the screen , I was thinking the number was the channel numbers , After messing about I ended up putting the RED firmware on to it and connected it back to the TV and it worked perfect ?
The Eurovox did come in a BLUE box but wouldnt work with the firmware and now works perfect with the RED firmware on it lol
Maybe you could try your RED box with the BLUE firmware
Sorry if I am totally wrong here but it MIGHT help lol

Thats what I was thinking Celt :) You have also used a red tsop image so if its a blue box this will cause the problems you are having. Look where the RF in socket is with the box facing you count how many grill slots the silver tuner takes up.

Hold the box up with the display facing you now look down on the top of the box, you will see the grills. Look at the top righthand corner you will see the silver tuner through the grill. Count how many slots it takes up.

Jlewis if possible can you clear channel data on your box and load the CDF I have put into Eamos FTA Library. It is my CDF for N** Dublin.
Scart output may be messed up, until you clear channel data & restore factory settings.
So view the output via the RF output, clear the data & reboot, scart should work again now.

HI Scouser,
Is it possible for me to give this box to someone and let them look at it. I will pay to get it working. I think at this stage it's over my head. But would love to get it going. Any suggestions.

Dont blame you at this stage. Send a pm to Fergusrb I know he has done a few at a very reasonable rate. He is based in Kildare but travels in and out to Dublin, tell him I sent you he will look after you. Show him a link to this thread so he can see all we have already went through.

May be a bit late but as I said it is probably just your scart output. If Ferg has sorted you out, not to worry but try this:
1) Connect Eurovox to TV using TV/VCR aerial connection on back of box with a coax lead.
2) Plug Eurovox into mains and switch on.
3) Tune in a spare channel on your TV until you see the Eurovox.
4) You will see a request to enter a PIN ? use the master PIN 1004.
5) Enter Menu and go to ?Config?.
6) Go to ?Clear Data?.
7) Enter PIN ? 1004
8) Go to ?Factory Default?, click OK.
9) Click on your Symbol rate, either Symbolrate(6887).Press OK.
10) Click OK when the warning comes up.
11) Exit and then load your ?Channel File? (You will find one for N** Dublin in Eamos FTA Library in the Eurovox folder).

Hi all,
Im new to all this but have a red 2007 eurovox. Does anyone know how to sort out the epg and time differance. I keep resetting it and as soon as the power is switched off and turned back on again it resorts to being 1 hour ahead of real time. Being happening since the clocks went back 2 weeks ago ish. Sure your all sick of this Question but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Use symbol rate 6887 and frequency range 290.000 to 403.000. Or you can find my CDF for N** Dublin in the Eurovox section in Eamos FTA Library at the bottom of my post.
