Hi,
I just picked up a 60GB PS3I'm looking for a list of games that run in 1080. So far I know the following do:
Oblivion
Ninja Gaiden Sigma
Transformers
MLB 07 (I think)
I have searched the archives and have not found a 1080 game list so I apologize if this is a common thread and I missed it. Thanks.
That's just what we call pillow talk, baby... that's all.

I'm sorry. Let me reword myself. I'm looking for a list of games that run 1080i (or 1080p which I could then run in 1080i). I have a 4801/480p/1080i TV. As I can't run 720P and the PS3 doesn't up convert 780P to 1080i, I'm looking for a list of games that will run in 1080i. If anyone knows where there is a fairly recent list I would appreciate it. Thanks

Some older projection Tv's like my 55" only have 480p and 1080i for HD output... sucks a lot since most PS3 games are in 720p.

To marcusita,
Umm.. no. You are very very wrong. Thanks.
To Davisdane,
You are absolutely correct, in fact this TV is only 3 years old, and that is my problem.

I would say it is 720p, it can't be 1080i since it is a fixed pixel display. How old is it, most of the new ones I've seen have been 1080p.

i got my WEGA this year. (2007)
(were you asking that spenman?)
so if yours is 5 years old, i suppose it would be 720p. (if mine isnt as well.) :)
but if mine IS 720p, i recently played the Xbox360 version of Oblivion, and it looked great. i wouldnt worry bout the TV rhinogolf. i think it should still work. (at least for oblivion)
but if you want a new TV, look at a flat-panel SHARP telly.
they are supposed to be GREAT for PS3. (make sure it has HDMI inputs.)
according the G4TV, they are for optimum efficiancy in this generation of gaming!!!

the current release of oblivion is 720p. The new release with the expansions packs that is coming out... I want to say this month, is 1080.

Yeah, you can always just run it in 720p. Of course, it still looks great on my 480i TV, I just prefer my 1080p Samsung. XD

G4TV just says that because Sharp is a paid advertiser. Sharps arent that good: Id take a Samsung or Panasonic any day over a sharp...just check out the tech reviews at cnet

Samsung lcd tvs have a nice display. Sony also makes good hdtvs. Sharp is not the best although they are still good. Keep in mind that if the tv is not at least 42 inches then the human eye really can't tell a difference between 720 and 1080.

Well lets be honest here, if you are a true enthusiast, your tv shouldnt be less then 46" ...even then you are pushing it.
I motion a new man law be pushed forward...all hdtv's are required to be 50" or larger!

well lets be honest here, a majority of hdtv's are purchased for action movies, video games, and sports...which means a majority of the people buying them are men....so yes, man law.
