DVD Shrink - overlapped I/O?

Error: overlapped I/O.
(DVD Shrink returns to main window)

I get this message in about 1 of 20 de-encrypts. DVD Shrink itself has an FILE I/O tab in PREFERENCES, where oddly enough there is a setting to enable overlapped I/O's ... although it does not seem to 'want' to be checked.

This happens with older as well as new dvd's, that I'd just really like a copy of.

Is there a simple way to enable this function?

Leave the setting in its default state and try ripping the DVD to your hard drive using DVDFab instead, once the files are on your hard drive you can then open the files using shrink and proceed as you normally would.
