what is the range of wifi on the ps3? My wireless router has a range of 300m. Will i be able to play my ps3 downstairs while my wireless router is upstairs with a signal strength from 75% and above?
Can you please answer both questions?

I think the ps3 recieves wifi signals not gives out wifi signals.
Yeah my router is upstairs while i play downstairs and the signal is around 75% too

I have a question. My friend has a ps3 and he says that he might cancel his internet becuase he has his Ps3 now. Is he lying i want to know because don't you need the internet for your ps3 to go online?

he still needs to keep his internet connection because the internet connection is either pluged in at the back of the playstation or recieved wirelessly.. so if he didnt have the internet it wudnt work.

thanks but my psp signal strength is about 50% downstairs. Does it depend on what item you are using and will the ps3 have a higher signal strength than my psp?
By the way what router do you have ziggi_93?? what make exactly and what range does your router have??

Yeah you probably will, i got really fast internet, but there is a small chance you might lag online and get called a cheat by your team mates, it depends on how big your house is lol

because your signal strength might not be strong enough, is your router like the room above or really far from where your ps3 will be

My router is basically directly above where the ps3 will go, but i thought you only lag when your signal strength is like below 55%

both games are dead but i like r6v.they get boring easily.the 60gb is sold out on amazon but here in canada its available still in futureshop and bestbuy.after christmas holidays they will be gone.

Any body getting problems with their wireless router coming up with Upnp not available? some times its available, sometimes its not! its killin me cause i cant chat using my headset without it working, i could do port forwarding but thats too hard :oD
