BTW, I have a positive feeling that you will be banned permanently.

P.S. I want someone to back him up, so just incase he gives me false information.TBH, I don't trust him much.

Hehe, if you're using the Universal Unbricker V3, then backing up nand isn't needed :P.

The Universal Unbricker helps you to unbrick/downgrade. Which means it's a brick-free flasher.

As i understand it should restore back to 3.52 Subject to the .Bin file being from the PSP you intend to restore the nand on. I understand it is also possible to have a number of backed up Nand files across a range of firmwares for when needed including OFW.

So if i have it wrong someone please re-educate me as that what i know & understand (?)

PsP#1 : 2.01>3.71M33-4>3.80 M33-5
PsP#2 (Slim) : 3.80>3.90M33-2 All hail the UPMS Stck
If you need a UPMS Stick go here and then go here :-) *As recommended by January39

i heard that in some case someone can't unbrick his bricked psp using v3 because the process hang when v3 start to format flash1.
so,just in case nand is very useful.
just wonder that can i back up oficial 3.52 or 3.71,and use it on bricked psp so that psp can return to official firmware??

I think you'll end up in a brick cause you know the NAND s for 3.52 M33 but if this NAND came from your PSP I think you'll be safe but I'm not quite sure with this/....

Hope I helped even just a tiny bit.. *LOL*

Well this is simple: The nand dump is a backup of your ID keys, other stuff, and what we're focusing on now; the internal RAM flash. So it doesn't matter what firmware you attempt this on as long as you are using your own Nand dump or unless you're using a nand dump of a bricked PSP. You should be find to do it using someone's else nand too as long as you do not chose the physical dump which replaces the ID keys and all that. The safe one only takes the flash files which are safe to use.

However I just know some noobie will do this: Takes his friends nand and uses it on his psp. Then he wonders what I mean by two different types of Nand replacements.. It's happened before and it'll mess up your PSP permenantly unless you can find a copy of your own nand after.. So be careful and try to stay away from this unless you can read haha.

Yeah lol.. you'd be surprised at what I mean. There are noobs that can read but simply chose not to and think they can do things their own way and it'll work lmfao. But yeah you were right about that.. just the fact that you can use nand regardless of firmware.

That's why they are called newbies (NOOBS) they tend to do everything by themselves even if they are not sure about it and they don't even ask for help before they dosomething they'll only ask if they done something wrong and can't go back...
:)
but anyways back to the topic.. try it and tell us the result...
