@BTFan
You only restore the eeprom if you want to restore the battery to normal. You said you ran the option to backup the eeprom so that is done. Now just run the option in step 2 to make it Pandora then step 2 is done.
Follow what I said earlier for step 4 and I also suggest installing Trio for step 3 don't forget to install the patch for trio also in step 3.

Just run step 2 again and restore the serial from your eeprom backup.
Format your MS.
All normall again

Yeah bro. There will be changes to the installer and big changes with ULoader. Just wait and see I think everyone will like the revisions. I will let you know when it becomes released or keep an eye on the official site/forum. It should be soon.

It worked, when I opened the PSP I wanted to unbrick, I used Despart del Commentario or however it's spelled and the PSP is on 3.71 M33-2.

Hmm..Thanks alot for this guide,it helped me make my own battery and memory stick with little effort all thanks to the clear instructions given.

However, when I load up my trio menu, the words cannot be seen when I enter the jokers menu, its cut halfway but its not really important for me though, just wondering if its only me.

Btw,I have a question,if I accidentally deleted my eeprom.bin,I wouldn't be able to restore the serial to my original one right? But I can still restore it to 0x12345678 which will still enable it to function as a normal battery so what is the difference between the two?I was careless and formatted the memory stick without backing up and I really want to know what is the difference though it's not important. At least I will know what I have lost.

Regarding the text being cut off in the Joker's menu, I have not seen that myself, that is odd...Are you able to see anything at all in the menu, or is the text shifted over too far? The only I could suggest is running the installer again for the memory stick...

As far as your battery-you can restore it using the generic serial that is provided..The problem with the generic serial is that its been known to cause irratic behavior, such as the psp just shutting off on its own, or showing a false battery charge level. It may work ok for you, and it may not..If you end up having problems with it later on down the road, you may just want to invest in another battery, and keep the one you converted as a pandora battery.

HELP NEEDED.

I recently upgraded to 3.71 m33-3. It doesnt let me open games from the memory stick and ive noticed in the iso folder there a video folder as well as the normal one, even when i format the card its the same.

So imtrying to get back to 3.40 which was working fine before on my Phat PSP.

Ive tried to follow the thread THE ULTIMATE PANDORA's MAGIC STICK to the letter, first time round on step 3 i selected hellcat duo version which gave me error while initializing: 0x8ca10002. So i loaded the trio version and all was well. Ive followed all the steps and unplugged then held the l trigger and inserted the battery, but it wont start at all like that the orange & green lights just flash as fast as possible and the black screen just sits there.

I just want to play games again and wished i hadnt of bothered.

I need some help too...

I created the the pandora fine(well, almost)
So, when I insert the MS, hold the L button, and then insert the battery, all I get is a dark screen on my slim. does anybody know what could be the problem? the first couple of times I used it, the black screen appeared but somehow i got the main menu to appear and I upgraded my slim to a 3.71 m33-2 ...it worked well for a while but then when i tried the Joker menu, my psp sort of semi bricked? the battery didnt work... so after a few tries to get it back on I plugged the ac adaptor and got to change the battery back to normal and now the psp battery work fine but it does not work when i turn it into a pandora

any help? :)

I'm sure you need the HOLD button to be activated on the Slim, then hold the L trigger. I might be talking trash, but I saw that somewhere.

Go into recovery mode and change your 'NO-UMD' settings so your iso's will work (sony-NP9660)

As far as your memory stick woes are concerned-try running the installer again, you must have missed something along the way- Because it will boot to the UL menu on fat psp's-and for slim psp's all the lights will flash for a second and then bring up the DCv3 menu.

You guys can also use the VSH Menu to change the UMD Mode.
3.52 use the home button, and 3.71 use the select button.

^^That is correct-The HOLD button (or ON/OFF switch) should actually be in the middle position to begin with-Not in the HOLD position where it locks the buttons....But you still want to hold down the L trigger first.

Here is how I get the slim going with the UPMS+Battery
1>Remove slim battery
2>Insert UPMS
3>Hold L trigger button
4>Insert Pandora battery
5>push HOLD(ON/OFF) switch up (as if you were turning on the PSP from a powered off state)

And just an FYI-You would only want to use the DCv3 menu for "enhancing" the slim psp-even though the hellcat and joker menus will appear on slim psp's
But it should just go to DCv3 by default on the slim...

5) let go of L when the screen/orange light flashes, then i see the menu and can do all the stuff with the trio thing

with SLIM psp w/ 3.60 OFFICIAL firmware
1) power off
2) take out MS and battery
3) put in MS and hold on L
4) put in MAGIC BATTERY
5) either
a) scren flashes and i let go of L but screen stays black
b) screen doesnt flash and psp shuts off

what am i doing wrong?

Alright, I understand how to flash the fat psp's but for a slims, when you install ** upgrade slims to 3.71-2 M33, you dont need to downgrade or anything right, just have to run Despertar del Cementerio v3 and you can't have kernal 1.5 on slims right?
