ok pets use this Link to crack a SLIM with a FAT PSP, the regular guide has issues for some slim PSP's mine included.
HERE - Slim Guide
origionally posted link by "krushin"
Now dont worry the big fat batteries in a slim work it's just really tight and sticks out alot, but it works fine dont worry, Follow the above guide and youll crack your slim to 3.71 M33-2, this guide to crack the slim and its almost entirely automatic once you get into it, its alot easier then the fats.

thanks for the link, but it seems to be the exact same program as the one that I'm using. I'm fairly confident that I'll get it to work thanks.

has anyone ever seen this error when formatting a mem card.
a format error has occurred you will no be able to save data that requires copyright protection
On 1.50 it does not do it but after m33 it does.
It,s a IC1003 so figure must be something to do with id keys.
could not get to 371 without upms
anyone have any ideas , thanks sorry if this is a common error I searched google without luck.

What type of MS are you using?
Try to use the cmd and the msformat function you will need to download the files, you can get them

Dunno why you give me links to pandora and format util, as that is no good as I want psp to format so all folders exist, there is no problem with all the memory cards it's the psp, thanks anyway

you mean all your sony MS sticks are doing the same thing ?
cuz then you may be hooped, it could be a hardware problem - if its just one i would say make a new one, ussually when psp boots up it just recreates the folders ect. the msformat was just something you could try, but honestly if it were me id recrack the entire thing i also have the same model as you TA-082 - something may have gone aray while cracking this the first time, try again is your only hope, i hope it works man GL

Thanks
Does not many how many times is flashed I cannot get it to go past 352 -4 cannot get to 371 as if i try it bricks as soon as i say yes to patch id.
I have been able to get it to 371-2 using upms and now -3 using the small update.
Yes it does it with every single pro duo i own.
All those cards format fine in my other 4 psp's
So not really a big deal as I format in one of my psp's swap mem card over and its fine and so far all the games I have used save no trouble.
Still not exactly sure what the error is, may be something to do with drm files the psp could save, EG it will not save them now but who cares as long as save's work for games.

I also forgot to say it actually does format the card but prompts the message at end.
so its not like it errors out and stops format

^^And you are just having the memory stick issue on that one psp then? It sounds to me like you have corrupted keys-Are you having trouble with anything else? ie: Wi-Fi, UMD drive, USB connection on that unit? Have you tried running Chilly Willy's key cleaner, or the idstorage manager to try and fix the keys? Or even doing a physical restoration of the NAND?

Anyone know if it is possible to put mutiple updates into the UPDATE folder? I.e 3.71 M33-4, 3.71 M33-3?
Been trying a few ways but cannot get it to recognise more than one.
I ve heard if you do not go from -3 to -4 it will brick. Thxs!!
PsP#1 : 2.01>3.71M33-4>3.80 M33-5
PsP#2 (Slim) : 3.80>3.90M33-2 All hail the UPMS Stck

Take your battery out of your PSP.
Connect your AC Adapter onto your PSP.
Open your PSP and you should see the XMB.
You probably didn't install the IPL.

Is the Memory Card working ok, Try removing the Magic MS and Replacing it with another, do the same with the Battery. Still Brioked?
Last time i did it the Memory Card got fired and When combined with the Pandora, al i got was the green light and NO Screen. Changed them back and fully working.
I eventually made another MMS and sorted. It may not be the same for you but worth a shot.

@deepansh- did you get your problem sorted with the memory stick? I would be very suprised if you managed to brick your psp by creating a pandora battery with the UPMS program as it does not touch your psp's internal memory at all-Try taking the battery and memory stick out and plugging it in with the just the AC adaptor-See if you boot to the XMB..Another option seeing that you are running custom firmware, is you could run the recovery eboot from the recovery console. But I seriously doubt you are bricked, I am sure its just something with the memory stick not having the IPL written properly.
@don010- Thank you for the kind words-The hardest part of putting one of these guides together is having to go back and edit everything when a newer version of something comes out and there are a lot of revisions-But its mostly copied and pasted from the original with edits of my own. So its not too bad...
