I was searching through the UK Sony websites and BOOM.3.72, I saw.I won't link but I will tell you what it says.
Find out what features are contained in PSP system software version 3.72.
An update to the PSP system software was made available on October 30, 2007. With this update, the system software is version 3.72. Features updated in system software update 3.72 include
Network
* Support for PLAYSTATION Network titles have been expanded.
* Support has been added for [Remote Start]* of the PS3 system under [Remote Play].
*To use this feature, the PS3 system software must be version 2.00 or later. For detailed information about [Remote Start], visit the PS3 Help & Support section at eu.playstation.com and select Connecting to other devices in the General Guides area.
Note:
* This system software update includes all features contained in previous versions.
* The new system software will preserve any settings previously made to the PSP (such as the Parental Control level).
* Depending on the software title, you may not be able to play without first updating the PSP system software.
* Do not perform updates using any data other than the official update data provided by Sony Computer Entertainment over a network or on disc media, and do not perform updates by methods other than those described in the product documentation or in this site. If an update is performed using data from another source, by another method, or with a PSP system that has been altered or modified in any way, the PSP system may not operate properly and may not be able to install the official update data. Any of these actions may void the PSP system warranty and affect your ability to obtain warranty services and repair services from Sony Computer Entertainment.

bout time, absolutley no point, i think this is to see if dax really has left, if he mods it, hes here, he doesn't, then we screwed :D
really no new features tho so not a must upgrade, thanks for the upgrade bro! about a week or so i give it and itll come out for US, im going to try going here and then go back with a pandora.

What if 3.72 is an anti-pandora OFW though? I'd let others in the scene be the guinea pigs first.

Nah, the PB cannot be stopped unless you try to do the PB on the patched batteries.

i have a high testoserone level i'll try it :)
jkz, pandora came out on 3.52 i beleive, by 3.70 and 3.71 don't you think they had patched it? if thats the case, theyd need to think of something completely new to boot the bricked psp's they receive so it pretty damn impossible to patch this i think.

Sony knows that they're stopped.Let's just say only 10 guys had a PSP.8 of them would have PB, and 2 of the 8 would lend the other 2 a PB.So all 10 of them are homebrew enabled.
You see what I mean?

ur forgetting about the other 2 that dunt want a cfw... as hard to beleive as that is its true.

Wow, true.They 2 might get the 8 hacker's PSP then throw away the PB then upgrade the PSP's to 3.72 :O
Then they're all doomed!

Never heard of Team Void LOL, but I don't think WildC*rd can crack this.If Dark_AleX didn't leave, I'd think he'd fail in hacking it.Not any good updates in the firmware.So what is Sony up to? O.O

one reason in my books, games will require 3.72, CFW goes up to 3.71 so we'd all be screwed.

Yeah, that's a good reason.I will personally go up to Sony and shout at them if they made GOW for 3.72.I've been dying for that game =/

it would stop alot but we can always buy a game if its worth it... just upgrade to official and back to custom to play ISO's aka backups... so they say expanded line of PSX games every update, anyone know if they actualy do put more games?

So if I wanted to use the 3.72 FW to update my PSP with, what would happen if I had 3.71 M33-2 and tried to update?

That's what you think 0.0.
They made this firmware so 3.71M33 can't play the new games.So it means you must upgrade to 3.72 to play the new games...Until someone hacks the firmware, we're doomed for the new games...

yup, like said before, thats why sony pulled the trigger and released this bullet, to target us, i just know it, i just do, the homebrew scene will not die and sony will lose, we have so many other people out there that need to step up, heck, booster could continue devhook even though it isnt as great but its better then nothing, this bullet wunt hit, guys.
