HI i'm back, thought i'd warn all u sonyfanboys, not to get the 40gb version, by brother has just got it, and it failed, i did research into this! apparently the 40gb version has ahd a 40% fail rate! However sony are now trying to cover this up! lolz! Seriosuly guys don't get the 40gb version its a waste of money!
Let me guess you own a 360. Thats actually a rumour believed to be started by microsoft because of the rivalry of the 40gb. I have alot of friends with a 40gb no problems. Sonyfanboys are going to start another homo war, this thread should be closed.
Yes i do have a 360, but my brother bought a ps3 40gb version, this did actually happen to him, i though i'd let ppl no, but yeh i guess this shoudl be closed!
Just to confirm there is no base for this. The statement was made by a employ at one dutch game retailer store. They really have no facts, or numbers to confirm it. Just another example how anything stupid stated on the web gets repeated over and over. If there really was a failure rate like that it would substantially more people complaining that just a single store.
