i'm looking at getting a PS3 but i was wondering if sony are going to bring out a special edition console like when microsoft brought out the elite. does anyone have any insider knowledge about this subject.

they brought the elite out to try to fix all the problems the regular system has..the ps3 isnt riddled with problems theres no need..

If you're not scared of used goods, you should go online or around your city to find a 60GB. It has better backwards compatibility than the 80GB does because of the emotion engine.
