Yeah luffy, the roms that I had downloaded were smc files, but as I had first posted I had no luck following the instruction as you stated in your guide

try...put the emulator n games into GAME150 n set ur kernel to 3.52..try tht.

can this be custom firmwares be removed?
will they cause any problems with the regular psp games?
what does the custom firmware do to the psp?

no it doesnt affect your custom firmware.plus,u need custom firmware to run homebrew n emulators.
cfw allows u to play games off your mem stick without using umd n u can do lot of things with your cfw installed psp.

its when u re on M33 cfw...in other words,yep,full compatibility no umd mode on M33 3.52 n above while on oe only certain games can be played without umd.

yes.
to put it all in the simplest of terms, if you get the latest magic memory stick software with a pandoras battery you can simply remove the custom firmware and put it back to normal very easily. if you ever wished.
it will not cause any problems with your normal disced games, you can either use a game disc or play a game from your memory card.
the custom firmware opens up the true capabilities of your psp and is primarily used to play iso games from the memory card.

1st a cfw.then,the emulator n then its roms.after tht u are good to go.but i am yet to update for slim,need to do some research 1st coz i dont have a slim.
btw,anyone can suggest the latest n best emulator for slim??

- Just install an OFW via UMD Update...
-NO, CFW even helps you play more games...(ISO/CSO's)
- It increases your PSP's Real Power...you can customize your PSP and play homebrew games..

of course not tested by me but i saw lots of good feedback from the download page except the noobz question bout it.i've done a lil bit of reseacrh and saw many people are using the same version for their slim n thts it.

hy im running 340 oea and i tryed putting on a nes emulator and when i play games i can play them for about 2 seconds then the game cuts out and the psp is frozen i then need to trn off the psp to turn it back on please

Y0h,,, 2 Seconds Just like about in the loading screen??
