1)is it true only the 60gb PS3 is backwards compatable?
2)How does the three-way switch exploit work?
3)Does the three-way switch work?
4)If the three way switch works what metod should i use to backup ps2 games?
5)Does yellow dog linux have emulators yet?

1)No, the 60GB US has the best compatibility but the 80GB also has good compatibility.
5)Yes, YDL has emulators but so does Ubuntu and almost all flavors of linux.

Three three-way switch hack does reportedly work. It works by controlling the disc drive motor manually with a switch so you can swap games. However, you have to open your PS3 and do some soldering in the process.
