You could buy an inexpensive video capture card, or an expensive one, it might depend on what resolution you want. However, for making game videos and glitch videos for resistance, holding a camera up to your TV and the right lighting will suffice.

what you can do is get a tv tuner card which lets you add composite cables. this way you will be able to get an image on your PC monitor then use fraps to record what appears on your monitor. you will need some sort of software which enables you to view stuff from your tv tuner normally this software comes with the tv tuner.
