[Solution] Update 3.52 M33-4 to 3.71 M33 Problem And No MAC address[Solved]

This can be Fixed using idstorage manager 1.3 to recover the lost key or creating a empty key.
For My MAC address Problem i also create a clean key for 044 Key (it will change ur MAC address to 00000000000)and use MaC Address Changer to change to my original MAC address. If u don noe ur original MAC address you can check it by connecting ur PSP to a wireless router and check it in the router.
Here is a Few Picture on how to use idstorage manager 1.3 :
1.Idstorage manager main page
2.Press △ view/edit keys
3.On the top right shows which key u are viewing now, in the pic it shows key=0004. (you can navigate the keys by pressing left or right)
-If it shows (Attempt to read key returned code 80000025) "key appear to be non-existent" u have to recreate a clean key for it.
Then you are ready to upgrade to 3.71 now.
For T-082 mobo users this msg may apear : some of your idstorage keys have not the correct value, probably duo to a downgrader. in order to continue,press x to restore the correct value, press R to exit Just Press X .

I run the keycleaner 1.4 and fix all the key expect Key 5 , but still same.

Try following this guide HERE. Even tho it says its for SE/LE/OE versions it will work in this situation as well.
It will recover the PSP back to 1.50 and let you install a fresh copy of 3.52 M33-4. Doing this could fix the issue if the previous installation of 3.52 M33-4 didn't set up properly.
After you update back to 3.52 M33-4 try running the 3.71 M33 update again. HERE is a guide that you can follow.

Yeah I created the guide to fool people into bricking their PSP's.
Theres always a chance of bricking your PSP when doing firmware downgrades/upgrades. But if you follow the directions properly and have a fully charged battery and AC Adapter plugged in the chances are slim.

I just tried to update it from 3.52 M334 -> 3.71 M33 , but still give me the "Error 0X00000060 cheacking idstorage degeneration".

go into recovery then go into advanced then choose 'format flash1 and reset settings' then set a nickname and see if mac address is back. and what errors are you getting for mac address updates?
if none of the above works you change your mac address manually.

I got this error msg when i tried update to v3.71 "Error 0X00000060 cheacking idstorage degeneration". i run keycleaner before , and fix every key except key 5, how can i change the mac address manually ? i tried using MAC address changer , but it din work . can i use other ppl macid.bin for the MAC address changer coz i only backup the mac address affter it was gone. thks

if its legal ill send you my copy of macid.bin edited with one of these otherwise try to find one on the net then hex edit it. btw macid.bin is actually the idstorage key 0x0044

can u sent me ur copy of macid.bin ? coz mine is currupted , i got my ori hardware MAC adress from connecting my psp to my router. seems my macid.bin data is wrong.

ok can you email the file you edited with your mac address? also do you have a nickname set on your psp? also when you edited mac address was your wifi switch on?

Problem Fixed ""
FOr MAC address i use idstorage manager and created clean key 0x0044 , and use MAC address changer to change it.
And for the update problem , i clean key0004-0006、0007、0008 , and the error : "Error 0X00000060 cheacking idstorage degeneration" is gone.
