Everyone has different opinions on which chip to get:
duowii
wiinja
wiikey
I would like one that isnt to hard to fit, also I have heard that some of the new wii consoles require you to grind 3 legs off to fit the mod chip (nightmare)
Also does it matter if you get the console from UK or Germany in regards to which chip to go for
Can someone please give me advice,
Thanks in advance

WiiKey, cyclowiz or Wiinja Deluxe
Sorry if these 3 are the best which one would people recommend.
Also as I mentioned, is there any problem fitting them with the new wii consoles

thanks for the reply,
It says that the pins are not cut,
Does this mean I have to cut them myself,
I thought that with the new chips you didnt even have to solder them

I have an older Wii but i got the WiiKey, it was very easy to solder, and was playing backups in less than an hour. I dont know how easy the others are but WiiKey is pretty simple.

I think wiikey is pretty good, easy to update and haven't had a problem yet with it.

Make sure you know what chipset your Wii has. Recent ones ar most likely D2C, so Wiikey wouldnt help you. If so you'll need a D2Ckey (Flexpcb would be helpful too).
Other then that I like the Wiikey ^ ^;

Hey guys!! I got my serial is LU3218*****
According to Nintendo scene wii serial tracker, it shows
"Your Drive Chip is most likely GC2-D2C.
Your Drive Pins are most likely not cut."
Currently I got myself a wiikey

If not please suggest me which chip to buy!!
Thx a lot, a fast reply would be very appriciated!!

Sorry it will not work on your console.
You will need the D2CKey with flexPCB to make it easier.

Yes it seems much easier to install with the flexpcb,

Not that much easier. Stille an EXPERT level installation. In fact you still need to solder the same amount of points.

I'm totally new here, and was wondering what is included in the definition of "expert"? Is there a chance of seriously screwing up my Wii with a bad install of a dc2key? Any tips/hints would be greatly appreciated :)

Heh the flexPCB is not that great after all. I tried it and it did not work out for me. Then I switch to wires and now it's working perfectly. :)
Here's a pic-

Not the cleanest job but on my next one I will do better now that I know the process better.

OK first of all, do not double post or keep posting the same message over and over.
SECOND OF ALL, SEARCH before asking a question. That question has been covered MANY times.
