OK Mr. Programer, have you tried wiki yet, alot of questions can be answered right there. It seems every single noob in the world who posts this same off topic question, always says 'Ive been looking all over' between google, and wiki this is not that hard of a question, and there are many tutorials that many people have invested much time in, if you are a program you above all should know the diffrence between research, and reading a few posts
*DAX update*
All that said, DAX seems to be readying his site. The format has changed, the server has been up and down all day, and now it has added a few different mirror sites for that anticipated traffic.
Sony can make more money off the psp, they will make a phone, it will have no UMD drive, it will be pandora proof, and will work only off downloaded content. $10 says they steel the Niko homebrew motion sensor, and they wont include a camera, because they can still charege you for it, face it sony will milk psp and ALL it's accesories for alll they are worth.
Oh and for those who use Dosbox, or other programs that require typing, sony has re-announced the psp keyboard (to bad a palm pilot keyboard and some homebrew beat them to it by a long shot)

I think it was supposed to be released on the 11th of January but DaX was confronted by a bug which he has to fix so..........thre will be delay in the release....=\

i read a few threads here are there but im preety sure the 3.80 CFW's release was postponed only one day. So it should be out today. If it does i would love to hear some feedback about it

It will most probably be released tonight as u said because DAX is in Spain and it is rumored that it would be released 12 noon at Spain's time. So at that time it would be past midnight here (North America)

another thread says that it HAS been uploaded, yet not released due to password protection.
if this is true, he probably just takes off the password protection and adds the link to his site when he "releases" it.

It's a bunch of crap. The link http://gamesquare.co.uk/files/380release.rar is fake. I downloaded it, tried every combination of "i use it at my own risk", uppercase, lowercase, underscore, etc and it fails. I'm using linux and ran john the ripper pro on it. The file is garbled, header file is currupt, and after two hours of password-cracking, it says the file doesn't require a password. It's a bunch of crap.
There is no excuse NOT to mod! Don't follow the rules, make them!

just as lordofuo said it is a bunch of crap. the only thing si that i use at my won risk worked for me but the file header was broken and it would say that the file could not be opened

Ok so I currently have 3.71. When 3.80 m33 comes out, in order to in tall it I must download the EBOOT file and the m33 file. Then install them at the same time? This is the jist of what I got from google wiki and youtube.
Am I right (or at least on the right track)?
The only reason I'm asking and re-asking is because I really don't want to accidentally brick my new PSP.
