Eurovox TX 2008 EMU?

turned on tx tonight and got data being updated, all channels came on after a couple of minutes. key 00- 98 89 2f 99 66 b8 df df
01- ce 97 58 27 7c 81 ef 28
when i enter menu 1969 and into hidden menu there is no emu option. now i know this is on by default but should the emu still be there? i changed the codes on both lines to ones totally made up and when i exit i still have all channels. turned off box and back on again channels still ok and my made up codes still there. is it because the emu option is not there then the codes do not appear on screen?

it appears the reason the codes in the above post didn't roll is because it was the wrong provider id. in hidden menu the provider id that shows up is 54 01. scroll right to get id 5e 01 they seem to be the codes for c****s on the tx. i changed these and the box did autoroll and the codes did show on screen. dont know what the other provider id's are for since this box was designed for c****s or is it a case of different id provider for different parts of the country

was d/l ing cdf to tx got100% on the led screen it read chal and has nt changed since no nothing cant recieve any chl s cant get menu s nothing any ideas box frozen
if its free it has to be good

just bought a eurovox tx downloaded the firmware 11-11-2007 done autoscan and got 86 stations but all im getting is scrambled or bad channel can anyone tell me what im doing wrong

thanks for reply when i looked again thats the one i have on it .my friend had it saved to her computer i couldnt open it on mine it said i needed a bin file how do you open that

You are on Ch**us MMDS? And it says 2311/07 in system info. If it does try a factory reset and rescan.

Still having problem with my box,

Really am struggling..Everything looks to be in order but its still coming up with bad or scrambled channels...Someone told me about the emu button but i went into the secret window and there is no emu button to be found anywhere....What else can i t be???

I dont have one so cannot check. But sounds like all you have done is correct. EMU should be on by default, press menu, then type 1969 and see if the emu is there.

I tried that pal and there is nothing about an emu on it!! coud it be i flashed it wrong....but all the channels are there when i uto scan just coming up with bad or scrambled channel??

If it says 231107 in system info its flashed. Is there an option to turn ant power on?

Yes there is as far as i can remember..I am at work now but will try it later when i get home....I will put in another post around 9.30 as to how i got on..turn on ant power so...will i need to auto scan again after that or reset factory settings or anything like that???

took me a while to figure this put also as i have a box-t an on this you had to turn on emu in the hidden but the on the eurovox it is on by default
just turn on Sky Sports and leave it on . a progress bar should appear and after a minite or so the channls should come through
hope that works for you
