Would anyone be able to recommend a router for streaming 720p files to a PS3 from my PC as I currently have a Thomson Speedtouch router and that is 54mb which I don't think will be quick enough. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Your router should be fine, most people have routers at 54mb.Also if you connect it through Ethernet you will get 100mb.

Either should be fine - the reason I say this is because my home network is on a 100mbit connection and usually only connects at between 8 and 20 mbits anyway. As most high def files stream at about 3-7 mbits (that Ive tried) then this wont be an issue.

In general your Router will allways say 100mb when connected via ethernet and 54mb when connected wirelessly,100mb and 54mb are NOT your internet download speeds, these are the speeds between your router and computer and not the speeds between your phone line and Router.

Marcusita - yeah I know that (my job is ADSL support lol). What I meant was yes my home network shows as connected at 100mbits, but the actual throughput is usually between 8mbits and 20mbits on the internal network (my internet is only 4mbps).
