I did the 1.3 config region override to on.
Then inserted the unbricked dvd. Did the unplug trick at 15%.
Reboot. Then inserted brickblocked dvd and my son is playing as I type.
It works.

Umm..wow.
I have a WiiKey shipment arriving..Tomorrow.
Soldering should be done by two days from now.
I want to play Brawl. ;_;
But, I don't understand any of whats going on right now.
What is the 10-15% trick?
Update disks? Wiikey software? Incomplete game? Azumi torrent? Double channels?
I know nothing about any of these. o_o
I just want to play the game...I've never put a single game on a Wiikey before, much less download a torrent or ISO file.

just burned the version from rapidshare. i have ntsc-u w/ wiikey 1.9g. trying the 15%. i'll repost in 10 minutes or so.

ok im gonna try this burning brickblocked dvd now and have the unbricked in wii at the screen that says " .... If your Wii console has an unauthorized technical modification, this upgrade could cause inoperability of your console"

you have a brickblocked and non-brickblocked version of the game?
you updated w/ non-brickblocked, then play w/ the brickblocked, and it's working w/ no dual-channels?

who is real? the usernet torrent or the azumi torrent?
it works with wiikey? dc2key or cyclowiz?
oh and, should I change the new region to ntsc? Because my is from U.S.A

Here we go.
I grabbed the iso from usenet.
I then made a copy.
I brickblocked 1 of the iso's.
Burnt both to dvd-r single layer.
Used the hacked 1.3 config disc to turn region override on.
I then inserted the game that i did not brickblock.
It wanted to update and i let it.
Waited till about 15% and unplugged the wii.
Rebooted the wii.
Then inserted the game that I brickblocked using brickblocker1.3beta.
My son is asking me to battle him right now.
I cant read japanese. So that is a problem.
But 100% this does work.
NTSC/U 3.1u
wiikey 1.9g

same here, i am currently at the select char screen but dont know how to get past that ... i selected all default options up to this point
EDIT: past char select but stuck at prob match options like time limit and stuff

The 1.3 hacked config disk is the disk which will load on your wii when you insert it. You can also get the regular one to load using gcos or yaosm I believe. Once it loads you turn region override option to on and thats basically it. Search Wiinewz forums for the actual disk file im sure you can google it and find it.

Interesting, it sounds like everyone who has done it thus far has gotten their iso from either usenet or rapid share. Has anyone tried the azumi?
