Yea it works, I finished it in like 14 hours used the 10%-15% method of preventing a bricked wii and started playing almost immediatly. burn it at 1x (ultimo safe) and you should be good. Everything except the movies and single player work!

There is rumor based out of Japan that Wiikey does, indeed, work fine with Dual Layer backups but not originals. This is unconfirmed.
It is possasble that a dual layer backup works and a dual layer origional does not. We know that the wiikey works for DVDR DL multi-gamecube games, so it can read burnable DL disks. Its stamped (origional) DL disks it has a problem with.
That said though I'm counting it as just a rumor until I see it work.

A lot of members seem to have wifi trouble and im pretty sure it has something to with distance...I don't think I can but maybe someone can create a thread where we can trade friend codes to play each other? then someone has to be online at some time...

I never used the setup disk for my wiikey, it just worked. Does that mean that region free is not on? Do I need the setup 1.3 disk to turn region free on? Where is the setup disk?

No friend codes allowed at Afterdawn.
Best bet is put them in your profile or share by pm - just not on the forums.

Caravan is in the proces of releasing DVD9:
As someone mentioned before, there are rumours that Japanese wii's with a wiikey are able to play this backup too.
Guess we will just have to wait and see..

I wanted to know, is there any way that we can play SSE? cause just v.s gets pretty boring... what i was thinking is like hving two different disc's, one that works with vs, and the other half which is sse and classic ect.. Dont mind me if this isnt possible =p

Apparently it's a 12s629 (?) with WiiFree which is hopefully what is causing the error. I'm getting it updated tomorrow, i'll post the results.
Let us know what happend! I got both a ntsc wii and a japanese with wiifree, usa wii doesn´t even read the disc :(, the japanese does but same error, i might go to my mod installer to see if theres an update or something.

Well, there's going to be the dual-layer one soon, so I think everyone would just prefer that more. Besides, it seems to me personally the all the game play is on the first layer, and all/the important parts of the videos are on the second layer.

I just got the wiikey i wanted to no what else it could do. If i were to buy a japanese brawl would it work on my wii. Also how do i burn games ?

Too burn games, u need to find the game u want in a torrent form, then get utorrent, dl it (Takes maybe a day o_o) Then get imgburn and burn it on a disc at 4x speed. Thats pretty much all to it =p
