Help! PS3 Remote Quit

Hello, Everyone...

My son's PS3 remote suddenly stopped working altogether. He was playing with it yesterday and it was fine. We charged it last night, then this morning, the remote doesn't function at all. Pushing the "PS" button gets no response from the system or the remote itself. I tried plugging it into the system via the USB cable, but still nothing.

Does this sound like an issue that can be fixed or am I on my way out to the store to buy another remote?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Do you mean control pad,there is a small reset button on the back,if you press it in it might help.

The same thing happened me and i did that,it has worked fine ever since.

Man, am I old and blind! I had already looked around for a reset button on the back and didn't see anything. After your suggestion, I checked again and there it was.

Whew, now I can still go out for my steak sandwich lunch instead of spending all my extra funds on a new controller! :-)
