ok so i recently got a psp slim i wanted to run custom firmware 3.71 m33 on it using this guide http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/610313
but i am not sure if I should do it because im afraid it will brick my psp and i would just like to get your suggestions on it
should i do it or not?

I just used this guide last night. It worked great!! Do you have a Pandora battery? I personally would not go to 3.80mm3-5. I would stick with the 3.71mm3-4. It seems updates are coming out pretty regularly.

thanks a lot for the suggestions but when i used the guide everything when perfectly but when i went to my memory stick on my psp there was this thing called pandora battery creator and Despertar del Cementerio
and when i clicked on both of them it just says the game cannot be started please help!

the pandora battery maker only works if u got another CFW psp. Plz use the edit button next time

Sorry man i have friends but none of them have cfw they dont even know what it is! you sound like a guy thats smart with psps are you sure there is no other way that i could get custom firmware?

You can hardmod your battery if you want, it is your battery... I would search for someone that has a fat psp with custom fw to make you a pandora battery. You can find pandora batteries on ebay, or you can buy a detel battery tool. Where do you live? Hell, I will make one for you if you want.

Ok then i am no going to describe sopmething that too most people who want to start psp hacking and hombrewing etc will look ridicolous however it is true
ok if you want to get a custom firmware first you have to downgrade your psp and to do this you need a custom firmware (WTF?) anyway so we cant do that but however we can do pandoras battery but hang on... to do this you need a custom firmware (WTF?!)
SO TO SUM THIS SECTION UP YOU CANT DOWNGRADE BECAUSE YOU NEED TO GET A CUSTOM FIRMWARE TO DOWNGRADE...anyways
Next section
for example on www.pspvault.com very useful website for custom firmwares so then say you have official 3.90 and want 3.90 m-33 you have to download the 3.90 m-33 file but hang on whats this it says 'to download this firmware you need custom firmware 3.72 and this process seems to carry on all the one till you get down 1.50
(NOW WERE REALLY THINKING !!!!WHAT THE ****!!!!!)
SO THE SUM UP IF YOUR LOOKING TO DOWNGRADE YOUR PSP AND WANT TO GET INTO IT THEN REALL REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY DONT BOTHER.
