I'm trying to find a "free" Ps3 site that doesn't use referrals. The problem with the one I'm currently fooling with requires 14 people to click on a referral link. After that they're suppose to sign up for an offer in order to be credited as a referral. The problem with this is that I can't even think of two people who is willing to go through this stuff, because face it, it's a pain in the butt. That is why I am trying to find any such services that is 100% based on offers only. Since I already plan on subscribing to Gamefly, Netflix, Blockbuster, etc., this just makes things easier for me.
Now that I think of it I remember seeing one such offer for the Wii, where if you completed four offers, they would ship it to you. Not too bad I guess; the most it should cost is $80 (although it should cost considerably less than that if all you did was the trials) for a $250 console. I wish I knew what happened to the link that concerned it since I wouldn't mind going through with it.
Anyway, before I get sidetracked, if anyone knows of any sites don't use referrals for their "free" PS3, can you please give me a list? It doesn't have to be just for the PS3 though (althogh yes, that is the one I would like to get my hands on the most); it can be for any other console out there such as the Wii, Xbox 360, PSP, etc.

Dude i really cant understand why people are convinced they are going to get a free PS3 or any other console,it just isnt going to happen.
You DONT get anything for FREE,well apart from the spam mail and rubbish your sent via E-Mail,thats free i think.
In my opinion you should just forget about signing up to these things,if you want to a PS3 save up for it,even if you can only save £5($10) a week.
And another thing, those type of links arnt allowed,so i think maybe you should delete it before you get suspended or banned.

From what I understand, due to referrals, and the people who are sponsoring the site, by the time you're done, not only have they covered the console, but also a little extra that they can secure for a profit. As I said; most of it I was planning to full with anyway, so really it's not like I loose out. As for spam; I'm using an old e-mail accout that has lost all meaning except for confirmination e-mails/various miscellaneous junk. So if they want to spam it, sure, spam away. It not like it affects me to begin with.
Also, yeah, I understand the risk, but from what I hear, a number of people are trying it out, and it does seem to work. If it don't...ah well; at least I only fooled with what interested me in the first place, that, and I tend to keep an eye on my credit history, so no problems there.
So obviously you don't get anything free, I know that, but whatever. Some things are just worth trying out to see if they work.
Marcusita: Thanks for the advice. I managed to remove the link.

Most referral just aren't worth the effort. You try out products or services (promo's) and after so many referrals, sometimes taking a full month for it to get accredited to your account, you might get what you want... but it takes a very long time and patience.

I dont know why you think it is reputable, the link you posted shows a forum with a link that i advised the original poster of this thread to take down,he took it down, now you go and put it back up again,im not 100% sure but i think all links of these types are against the rules.

Haku5,you are the third person to put that exact same link up,i dont know if you find it hard to understand, but these things are rubbish.
You have to hand over all your personal details.
My advise is to any young or gulible person reading this is,DONT click on these links and dont sign up to anything simmilar.
