hi there we r moving to a new house and there are 3 bedrooms so me and my bro dont share rooms no more and my parents r giving the Tv to my bro and i am getting the laptop and computer so is there a way i can hook my ps3 to my Laptop screen since it has High definition drivers for video card??? its got svideo and and an icon that looks like this I[]I so please help me out...

You would have to look at the specs and see if it is S-Video input and not output. It will more than likely be output though so I wouldn't get your hopes up about playing off of the laptop screen if I was you.

Im about 99% sure that its TV output and not input at this point. I'd need to know you laptop's model # to say 100%.

Ok so if you want to just play ps3 on your computer you can get a gamebridge 1400. i think you can get a newer version but that's the one i have.

only downside is that you will not have high definition by any means. actually picture quality is like around 4 -5 on scale of 1-10. so its very average. however, this will allow you to play games on your laptop using the ps3

If you were to go that route it would just be easier and about the same price to buy like a cheap 26" sd TV or a 22" computer monitor.
