I just got a PS3 and I want to register my BD remote. Every time I go to set it up, the screen will give me the instructions to press the START and ENTER buttons on the remote. Nothing happens when I do this, and its kind of frustrating. If anyone can give me any help or advice that'd be cool.
kthnx :]

I have two pieces of advice for you dude, youd be better changing the title of this thread to say PS3 and take your personal details out as well, its against the rules.
I know it sounds stupid but have you the batteries in properly.

It says this.
PS3 BD remote will not register to my PSP
Have you followed all these instructions.
Register Bluetooth® Device
Register a Bluetooth®-compatible device with the system.
Registering a BD remote control
1.
Prepare the BD remote control.
2.
Select (Accessory Settings) under (Settings) in the home menu.
3.
Select [Register Bluetooth® Device].
4.
Select [Register BD Remote Control].
Only one BD remote control can be registered at any given time. If you register another BD remote control, information on the currently registered device will be overwritten.
5.
Follow the on-screen instructions to register the BD remote control.
When the registration (pairing) is complete, a controller number is assigned.
Hints
When the maximum number of wireless controllers (seven) is in use, you cannot register or use a BD remote control.
If you register the BD remote control with another PS3? system, the device registration with the first PS3? system will be cleared.
For detailed usage instructions for the BD remote control, refer to the instruction manual for the BD remote control.

yeah i know. i was saying that when i tried to pair my bd remote it would give me a access point error and the remote wouldn't pair, as though the wireless signal from the router was interfering with my remote, only after i turned the router of did my remote connect.

yeah, wi-fi and bluetooth both use the 2.4Ghz frequency to transmit a signal. bluetooth signals can hop through the frequency range while wi-fi can't, so they could potentially interfere with each other if the
blutooth skips channels and uses the wi-fi's signal.

I had the same exact problem, When I tried to register mine (Sony PS3 remote), it said hold start and enter until the screen changes. Nothing happend. I actually had to unplug my wireless router to my computer, and turn off my sattelite box(witch uses a wireless antenna) THEN, thankfully it registered.
