First of all, Bluetooth headsets have nothing to do with UPnP and NAT.

Please read the Everything you need to know about PS3 guide stickied, it will show you how to set up a bluetooth headset.

The "everything you need to know about PS3" thread does not mention crap about scanning for a bluetooth. I cant get my PS3 to find my bluetooth when scanning

Skim through it?? It is exactly as it appears on the internet manual. VAGUE. It does NOT mention that you need to press and hold the bluetooth for more than ten seconds to get it into "scanning" mode. It also does NOT mention that most motorollas do NOT WORK with the PS3.
Why dont you include that in the EVERYTHING you NEED to KNOW about the PS3?

Dont feel so insulted when people ask questions even after that thread is read.

It also does nto mention that VIDEOS need to be a certain format. All it reads is "search for media" That does not explain anything. Explain why certain media types will not be detected.
In fact, before the updates, PS3s didnt even accept AVI files.

2A: Watching videos

The PS3 is a multimedia powerhouse. You can watch videos on it downloaded from the PlayStation Store, the internet, or from removable media. The PS3 can play MP4, AVI, MPEG, and other major formats. Watch videos by going to the Video section of the XMB, and select your video. In System Software 2.10, you can watch DivX videos, however the PS3 cannot play copright protected videos and cannot play DivX videos over 2GB.

The following types of videos can be played:

Memory Stick Video Format
- MPEG-4 SP (AAC LC)
- H.264/MPEG-4 AVC Main Profile (AAC LC)
MP4 file format
- H.264/MPEG-4 AVC High Profile (AAC LC)
MPEG-1 (MPEG Audio Layer 2)
MPEG-2 PS (MPEG2 Audio Layer 2, AAC LC, AC3(Dolby Digital), LPCM)
MPEG-2 TS (MPEG2 Audio Layer 2)
AVI
- Motion JPEG (Linear PCM)
- Motion JPEG (μ-Law)
AVCHD (.m2ts / .mts)
DivX
WMV
- VC-1(WMA Standard V2)

Hey exe323

Okay first off, with your BT headset, hold the on button for around ten seconds, or at least until the on light flashes a constant blue, then go to PS3, system settings and go through add bluetooth menu, bt keyboard, mouse, and headset, and set it to scan for the headset, and it should find the BT headset, when it does, you will have to add a numeric code, most probably 0000, or 1234 and then pair the Bt headset with the PS3, anmd you should be good to go.

Any problems post back
