i have simpletech external hd 120gb i formated by acronis disk to fat32 it done ok i made folders ps3 and video , photo , theme

but when i put it on ps3 i dont see anything i go to theme and photo , music i cant see my external hd on ps3

did i forget somthing? or i must do thing to see my hdd?

please help ;\

did you make sure that all the folders are in full capitals? Like PS3, VIDEO, PHOTO, MUSIC, THEME.

i tried flash memory 1 gb its work but its fat16

when i tried the hdd with fat32 again its not work

should i do somthing before in ps3 system to make fat32 work in ps3?

plz help i tried alot my external is no work on ps3 i tried also another hdd all of them is fat32

i make it fat32 with Acronis Disk Director Suite coz swissknife doesnt work with me in xp

should i use another program or another way to use hdd in ps3?

this may just be me.. but the first time i used that program to format my hardrives.. i forgot to click "apply" changes so it actually didn't do anything to my hard drive..

if you already did that and know for sure its fat32.. then i can't help you sorry

try a different program like partition magic.. to be safe.. delete the whole partition again (backing up your stuff of course) and make it again and format again... it should work.. you're doing everything right.. try turning on and off your drive a few times when connected to the ps3 and make sure you have playable media (which i assume you do)
