4-Port USB Hub for 40 gig ps3

dose anyone know about using a usb hub on the ps3 i have a 40 gig and what to use more peripherals, thank for your feedback

Yes a Four port hub will be fine,just as long as you only use one four port hub(you may be able to use more but im not sure)the PS3 dosnt seem to like to many things in at the same time.

A mate of mine on here had trouble with a 4port usb add-on, the PS3 didnt pick it up.
But it maybe only certain types.

have you been able to ether charge controllers or use multiple periphirals, other than your rock band game

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I used the 4 port hub that came with my xbox 360 version of Rock Band. I used the hub to connect an external hard drive along with a keyboard and mouse. I've only connected the controller directly to the console. I would asume based on the USB spec it would the charge the controller.
